Slate Grey 4.8m - Woodgrain STEP EDGE

Our grey step edging is super versatile and can be used on corners and stairs which finishes the exposed edges better than the L-ending edging trim provided.

**please note a calculation has been made to reduce the cost of this step edge board and thus if purchased with decking boards as part of the kit will replace the free trim**

This board is batch produced by itself due to its mould so may differ to our grey board which is from the same manufacturer just from another batch. It will improve over time after the initial extractive bleeding.

Please note - due to stock demands and manufacturing shortages the boards may be different from the sample supplied. Please ensure that all orders for the same project are placed together to ensure they match. We cannot guarantee that boards ordered separately will be from the same batch or manufacturer.

how many boards will i need for my project?

Please email us at sales@fyldegrass.co.uk where we are happy to help you work this out for you.
As a rough calculation two 3.6m Deep Embossed Woodgrain boards cover 1sqm area.

Is composite decking slippery when wet?

No! But…composite decking itself is very much anti-slip due to it’s granular composition and resistance to rotting and algae. However, if debris, dead leaves and or water are left on the surface there is still a potential slip risk present.

are your composite decking boards fire proof?

Composite products have a higher combustion temperature than timber which means they are less likely to catch fire. However, they aren’t guaranteed to be fire proof.

Will my composite decking fade?

A little! Although our composite decking uses UV stabilisation additives during manufacturing, they will lighten within the first few weeks / months whilst any residual dyes wash out due to weathering before they settle into their final colour. This process is known as “extractive bleeding”
